Make Your Own Short Horror Film

Here is your chance to make your own short horror film and have it shown on the Killriculum Website. We want you to let your creative juices flow and come up with a ‘killer’ (!) short film. We are looking for horror films that will rattle the false teeth of everyone here at Killriculum HQ. So create a film that will have us, and the online community, shaking.

Here is what you have to do:
Films can be between 1 and 10 minutes in length and must have a horror theme (No Rom Com’s unless it’s a Zombie Rom Com!)

You can make the films using any format you like, this could be a home camcorder, DVCAM, Super 8 (your granddad might have one of these) or even a mobile phone. The maximum size of your film can be 100MB, but the smaller it is, the quicker it will be to upload.

Once you have completed and submitted your film, it will be checked here at HQ for content (To read our guidelines on what we can and can’t accept, click the link on the left) and then it will make its way into our Gallery for all the horrorphiles to watch and comment on.

The show-off bit

As well as having your film shown online, the 10 best uploaded films will be screened as part of the West Midlands new Digital Film and Media Event, Hello Digital, which is being held at the end of October.
