Post-Production

This should be the best moment of the whole production. You have done all the planning, did the shoot, had that falling out with your main actor, you have been through it all. So, having survived all that it comes down to the edit. But what exactly does that mean?

Ultimately if you have done the work in Pre-production all those ideas should come to life during the editing process. If you have a PC you will probably be editing using Windows Movie Maker. If you have a Mac you will probably be using iMovie. Both are very simple editing programs which are very easy to pick up. If you haven’t got any editing software on your computer try your local community centre

Editing is a creative process and it’s not painting by numbers. Tone, pace and developing structure are very, very important.
