Killriculum Website and Birmingham based Workshops
A Project developed as part of Hello Digital – the new Digital Film and Media Event for the West Midlands by Blue Hippo Media and Reel Access
Parental Information
- The aim of Killriculum is to engage young people aged 11–18 in making short horror films in a fun way. These could be horror / comedy horror / chiller / manga. The website is designed to give young people the skills and ideas they need to work independently, with friends or with family members.
- All of the Killriculum team involved in workshop delivery or website administration hold Enhanced CRB checks.
- Young people were involved in the making of the trailermaker and their ideas used.
Reel Access / Blue Hippo and OSBD have child protection policies; please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to see a copy. - The website has a built in code of conduct that we encourage all users to follow. Any visitors found to be behaving inappropriately, for example; using bad language, will be banned from the site.
- Any short films or written work produced will be viewed by the website administrators to ensure it does not break the code of conduct and is appropriate to our target age range of 11-18.
At the workshops that are promoted on the website activity groups will be split by age: 11-14 and 15-18.
